A time off at the cabin
This past weekend me and my wife spent some time at my parents cabin. I haven’t been feeling very well this past month, and it felt great to get away for some relaxation,
good food and of course, take some photographs.

Yesterday, i went out and bought myself another lens. I’ve been wanting (drooling over..) a telephoto zoom lens for quite some time, and i’ve finally managed to get my hands on a EF 70-200mm F4 L IS USM.
Today, i took it out for a quick test.

My photographic equipment
Being interested in photography also means you’ll probably have an above-average interest in the equipment that comes with it.
I started taking a slight interest in photography about 5-6 years ago when i noticed that one of my friends were taking photographs that i felt appealed to my visual sense of style and direction.
He was shooting the majority of his pictures using the Olympus C-8080 Wide Zoom (this camera was launched in early 2004) . Oddly enough, this same camera was to be my very own during the spring of 2005.
We were travelling to Tokyo and my friend was looking to replace his C-8080 with a DSLR camera, specifically the Canon EOS 350D. I told him i could gladly take the C-8080 off his hands for a decent price, something he was kind enough to give me.
